Nazi Honor Badge of the National Senate of Culture
Introduced in 1936 for members of Germany's National Senate of Culture, a relatively small body consisting of a few hundred members. Around 200-250 of these badges are believed to have been awarded. Measuring 2 1/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide, with a body of gilt finished silver with a starburst pattern around the edges, a rope around the central piece, and a gold inlaid white enamel field in the center with a Nazi eagle surrounded by "REICHSKULTURSENAT" in an arch. The rear of the piece is numbered "56", with "SILVER", "DESCHLER/ MUNCHEN" and "900" stamps along the bottom.

Excellent, with a small chip and some light scuffing on the enamel, minor handling marks overall and strong gilt finish on the main body of the award. A fine addition for any collection of 3rd Reich civil awards.
