<Our item number 110936><B>Navajo Weaving, Transitional Blanket.</B> C. 1890-1915, 86&#34; x 55&#34;, handspun wool, analine and natural dyes, with a very technical, diagonal weave and pattern in shades of red, green, yellow, orange, black, and beige. This blanket is also referred to as a &#34;pound&#34; rug because it comes from the era when traders would buy from the Navajos by the pound, accounting for its heavy weave and nature.
