Tommy Singer (1940–2014) was a master silversmith and one of the most famous Navajo jewelry artists. He is widely credited with pioneering the use of chip inlay, a technique where crushed turquoise or coral is inlaid into silver or gold settings, creating a striking mosaic effect. Rose Singer, his wife, was also deeply involved in the creation and promotion of their jewelry.
