Navajo Silver Turquoise & Gem Stone Earrings
For your bidding pleasure in this lot is a collection of seven pairs of Navajo silver earrings with turquoise and other gemstones. The first pair of earrings is marked “Sterling” and by the artist Julius Burbank on the back. These earrings have Red Coral, Sugilite, Turquoise, Serpentine, and Orange Coral. The second pair are sterling silver marked bear fetishes with an artist hallmark on the back and turquoise cabochons. The third pair is sterling silver ovals with an artist name of Morningstar. The ovals have a cabochon of Carnelian. The next four pairs of earrings do not have artist marks or a silver stamp, though they appear to be sterling and Navajo in origin. The first of these four pairs of earrings are 3/4 hoops with 12 small dots of turquoise in a shadow box setting. The next pair is made of silver cones with two chunks of turquoise separated by heishi disks; these earrings are 1 ½" long. The next pair is of Abalone squares and fluted bench beads. The last pair is on spring clips for non-pierced ears. These earrings are made of four bench beads, each with a turquoise nugget between the beads. These earrings are 1 3/4" long. These earrings are in good condition.
