Navajo Preston Haley Sterling Pearl Earrings
For your consideration is this set of Navajo sterling pearl earrings made by Navajo silversmith Preston Haley. Near Gallup, New Mexico, Preston was born in October 1996. He comes from five generations of silversmiths. Known for creating Navajo Pearl necklaces, he is Ruby Haley's nephew. When Preston's father lost his job at the coal mine, Ruby first started buying silver for Preston so he could start earning money on his own. In addition to using a stamp that was handed down from his great-grandmother Annie on his beads, he gets inspiration for his artistic endeavors from his aunt. The pair of earrings show a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver Navajo pearl construction showing five sterling pearls on each earring. The earrings are marked twice on the top two pearls of each earring reading, "PJH Sterling". The condition of the earrings are good with no signs of obvious damage. The earrings measure 2" L x 1/2" W. The collective weight of the earrings is 10.4 grams.
