For your consideration is a pair Navajo Native American Fred Harvey sterling silver bracelets from the 1890's. Fred Harvey era jewelry is generally a lightweight jewelry that was made for sale to the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear, and generally with a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. This piece was made early in Fred's life around the 1880's and turn of the century. Both bracelets show a very thin silver band that is stamped with traditional Native American designs such as arrowheads. The interior circumference of the bracelets measures approximately 7".
