This is an excellent historic Navajo Native American Indian First Phase silver concho belt dating to circa 1860-1880. The 1st Phase silver concho belt shows seven large round concho's with an open-slot having a hand tooled rocker engraving and stampework along with a very rare and unique rope silver broder. The piece shows a larger added leather belt of the correct size and style. The belt has the matching concho buckle having a larger open-slot with more defined bar and belt loop attachment. The belt is of a very rare design showing a large concho manufacture with round pattern. The belt shows very well preserved condition and is the finest Navajo First Phase Concho belt currently offered for public sale. The expertly hand crafted historic piece measures overall 44.25"L end to end with each concho being 3 5/8" in diameter.
