This is an outstanding piece of finely made and polychrome hand painted pottery by master artist Linda Concho of the Acoma Pueblo Native American Indians in New Mexico. This finely made piece consist of a narrow mouth jar. This jar is a Linda Concho, original, signed Acoma. Linda uses natural pigments and traditional Acoma designs when creating her pieces. The jar shows the amazing craftsmanship she is known for, making her work so highly collectable. The Acoma Pueblo is in New Mexico. Linda uses natural pigments and traditional Acoma designs and tools when creating her pieces. She uses Yucca leaves for a paint brush, the traditional way of painting Acoma pottery. This jar is quite striking in its decoration. The urn is made of the fine, clay the pueblo is famous for. The jar was hand painted with black and red geometric designs. Linda signed the bottom of this urn in her "crossword" style. The jar is 5" tall, with a 1" opening, and 18" around.
