Mark Mickey Native Art Hesquiaht Wood Carving (30" x 26" x 5.5"). Mark Mickey was born April 5th 1956, and spent his first 5 years of life in a village called Hesquiaht, located about 40 miles north of Tofino on Vancouver Island. He and his parents then moved to Tofino where he spent most of his early life. Mark now lives back in traditional Hesquiaht territory, in Hot Springs Cove. Mark understands the Nuu-Chah-Nulth language and can sing some of their traditional songs.
This wood carving is made out of rare growth timber and was carved 5-7 years ago. Mark’s work is highly sought after, he has sold to many famous people around the globe. Lots of his works can be purchased at numerous galleries!

Payment Details:
After the completion of the auction, the credit card on file of the successful bidders will be charged automatically and bidders will be emailed an invoice.
All successful bidders have entered into a contract and are obliged to pay for all successfully awarded items in full within 24 hours upon receipt of the winning notification email.
The bidder can also pay in person at the time of the pick up ONLY if prior arrangements with the auctioneer have been made.
18% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the subtotal of the winning bid amount, plus, 5% GST and 7% PST in BC.
For example: Winning Bid $100.00 + 18% Buyers premium = $118.00 + 5% GST ($5.90) + 7% PST ($8.26) = Total purchase price $132.16
