From the Collection of Nick & Suzanne Nicholas. Native American Navajo Wool Dance Sash. The ancient Navajo (Dineh') Origin stories tell of spider women a supernatural being who introduced weaving to the people. Historically the Pueblo peoples had some influence in the early development of Navajo weaving. Today Navajo weavers are world-renowned. for the finest in beautiful hand made tapestries. The sash belt dance depicts the act of weaving acknowledging that we are tied to the great tapestry of life. The colors of the traditional Sash belt are red, white, and green these colors represent the rainbow, while the fringes of the belt symbolize the rain and moisture, which are important to replenishing the land. Measures approx. 36''L x 3''W with fringe that is 16''L.

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.

All shipping is at the buyers expense, and will be determined after each auction, based on actual shipping charges to designated shipping address, supplied by the buyer.
