Native American Maricopa Pottery, 2 bowls (one bowl has been glued and missing small piece) and 1 vase (has been glued), 2 bowls by Ida Redbird, Vase is by Mabel Sunn...Mabel Sunn, b. 1898-d.1980. One of the original members of the Maricopa Pottery Cooperative formed in 1937 by Elizabeth Hart, Mabel Sunn along with Ida Redbird and Mary Juan were encouraged to improve the quality of the pottery to an art form rather than just make trinkets for the tourists. Mabel is also the subject of Mary Fernald's wonderful book ''Dirt for Making Things'' which explores the 20th century history of pottery making by the Maricopa Indians., 1 bowl was chip out of rim, largest measures approx. 7 7/8'' x 5.5''. *** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 21 and can enter into legal contracts.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.

All inquiries regarding lots for sale must be received 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. Please register to bid and logon 2 hour before the start time, 10am MDT.
