For your consideration is this mid 1900s, Native American cross stitch artwork set in a wood frame and signed, "EJ". This piece of artwork shows a Native American woman sitting near a woven basket collecting food or other useful items. A sun and a bird can be seen in the top right hand corner, while a geometric design borders the bottom of the piece. Included with the cross stitch artwork are beads intertwined within the artwork showing colors of blue, light blue, light pink and light orange. It is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading, "EJ". It is set in a wood frame and has been double matted with light blue and maroon matting paper. The visible artwork measures 9 1/2" L x 7 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 15 1/4" L x 12 1/4" W x 1" D. It weighs 2 pounds.
