This looks super-nice from outside the slab, so by all means, zoom in on our scan, and you'll see what we're talking about! Quicksilver, King of Speed, made his first appearance in this issue; while the CGC slab doesn't give him a mention, most sources credit Nick Cardy with creating the strip (now that DC owns the Quality characters, Quicksilver's still around, though now called Max Mercury, no doubt to avoid confusion with the Marvel speedster). This issue also has the origin of Uncle Sam. Plus there's a bondage cover by Lou Fine ("skull cover" collectors will want it, too). Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $456; VF 8.0 value = $950.
