National Arms Co. No. 1 Deringer, .41 cal., 2-1/2” barrel, silver plated engraved frame, checkered wood grips, #10679 in overall very good + condition showing the majority of its un-polished silver plating on the frame, grey patina to barrel with some scattered areas of erosion, crisp action, very good bore and grips. National succeeded Moore’s Patent Firearms Co. in 1865 and later was acquired by Colt; a very nice representative piece in the development of the Colt Deringer series; provenance: to our consignor from the late Larry Fry collection.
