<B><I>Nathan Hale</B></I></B></I> <B>Cigar Label.</B></I> A lithographed and embossed 10" x 6" inner label picturing an outdoor statue of the great American hero surrounded by eagles mounted on swords and olive branches. Every school child knows the famous speech he gave before he was hanged during the Revolutionary War which included the immortal line: "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country," but many may not know that he is considered to be America's first spy. There is actually a statue of Hale outside the headquarters of the C.I.A. A great label for the history buff, especially those interested in Connecticut; Hale was officially designated the State Hero of Connecticut in 1985.
