A handsomely engraved (including a vignette of black cotton workers) first mortgage bond for the Selma Marion Memphis Railroad Company in the amount of $1,000. Thirty of the coupons remain attached to the lower portion. Forrest has signed as president of the company at the bottom of the document. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, mild wrinkling, soiling, and toning, and trimmed horizontal edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
