She exhibited such control over his films that Paramount barred her from her husband’s sets; they divorced shortly afterward. Vintage matte-finish 10 x 12.5. Ball portrait of Rambova in a daring velvet sheath and turban, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, and also signed in green crayon in the lower right corner by the photographer. Photo is affixed to an identical size sheet of cardboard. In very good condition, with scattered creasing to corners and edges, most of which could be matted out. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
