Napoleonic era French flintlock pocket-size pistol with small maker’s cartouche on bottom of barrel showing initials A.D. The pistol measures 6 ¼” overall with 1 ½” barrel of approximately .52 caliber smoothbore. The metal surfaces are bright metal and are very crisp with just some staining and normal aging the stock is nicely checkered and shows decorations on the back edge. The trigger and springs show some original bright fire blue. The construction is somewhat unusual with only one screw on left side and a removable side plate. Est.: $700-$1,400.
