Fantastic and full endorsement signature, “Napoleon,” on the front of a partial self-contained untranslated manuscript document, one page, both sides, 4.25 x 6, addressed at the top, “Sire,” and dated in pencil “July 23, 1804.” Napoleon orders a request for serving in his army to be sent for a report at the Ministry of War. Uniform toning to lower half of page, some scattered soiling and adhesive remnants, and trimmed edges, otherwise fine condition.
