<B>Napoleon J. Dana Autograph Manuscript Signed</B></I> "<I>N. J. T. Dana</B></I>". 183 pages in four bound sets, 8.25" x 13", New York, [no date], being chapters seven to twenty-two of his unpublished work <I>Red Men and White, Cherokees, Seminoles and Soldiers,</B></I> a history of the Seminole Wars. Dana (1822-1897) served with distinction in the Mexican War, severely wounded at Cerro Gordo, and during the Civil War, wounded at Antietam. Marginal chips and tears, with some losses, evenly browned and toned, else good condition. Other writings of Napoleon Dana were extensively quoted in the PBS series <I>U.S-Mexican War</B></I>.
