Many of the small parts such as the barrel bands, bottom metal, floor plate, upper tang and scope have been painted black. The balance of the metal parts, with exception to the dust cover (which is in near perfect condition), exhibit a dark grey patina with scattered pin prick pitting. Action is sound, the bore appears excellent up the muzzle where there is some pitting, the optics are slightly hazy with a crisp reticle and the wood stocks are very good with a slight gap between the lower tang and the bottom portion of the stock.
