NYU THEATRICAL FARCE BROADSIDE 1861. Broadside, 23 x 10". "IMBECILE. PERFIDIOSE MISERABILITER." A fine sheet advertising a farce to be held in the chapel of the New York University. N.d., circa 1861. Lists skit titles and their presenters, with unlikely titles such as "Gassation" by Horace Greeley Puff-Hard; "Declination" by Contem Plative Kingsley and others. Mention of the Wide-Awakes and a patent date of 1861 indicates the performance was during the Civil War. Folds, else fine.
