Rare. Lot of 4: 1) No. 1032 issued in 1883. Signed by J.W. Eckley. RN-G1. Yellow Jacket Silver Mining Co./Agency of the Nevada Bank of S.F. Blue and red on crème. 2). No. 1320 issued in 1879. Signed by T. Ennis. RN-G1. Belcher Silver Mining Co./Agency of the Bank of California. Blue on crème. Eckley served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Nevada in 1890 (Carson City). The first meeting of the order was held in 1865 [Davis, Sam History of Nevada, 1913, pp. 680-681]. 3) W.S. Hobart/Nevada Sapphire and Atlas Mills No. 5 issued October 3, 1868. Signed by W. S. Hobart. One orange untied R15 R2 adhesive perf stamp and one orange untied 2 cent Nevada state revenue stamp. Both at left. Check is cut cancelled at center. "Nevada" "and" "Atlas" and "s" in "Mills" all inked out implying that the only mill left to draw on at this time was the Sapphire Mill. Red on crème. 4) The Nevada Bank of San Francisco No. 755 issued September 18, 1878. Type RN-F1. One single ring "PAID" seal stamp at bottom. Cut cancelled at center. Black on crème.
