Leary of San Francisco for payment of a stationery bill and a bill The Carson and Tahoe Lumber and Plumbing Co. There are also feed bills, a bill from the Virginia City Ice Company, gas and telephone bills, a bill of $4.00 for horseshoeing from B.Burke “New Wagons and Sleighs Always on Hand” and three separate bills from metal and locomotive works in San Francisco.

There is also the 1875 tax bill for John McDowell, a payment to the county for the filing of Chollar Mine officers and a court document attaching property in the case of Wilson Watch Surveying Partners of the Watch Brothers versus Franklin Ward over a $25.75 bill.

One of the livery bills is torn. There is wear and folds in many of the documents, but the writing and signatures are crisp and clear. Condition of the collection overall is good to very good. A fine depiction of the business of running a mine in the 1800s.
