Lot of 2. An agreement between the Virginia and Truckee Railroad and Savage Mining Company for 3,000 cords of wood for $6,000.00 paid upon execution of the agreement plus $4.75 per cord upon delivery of the wood made on 28 June 1870. Attached are two adhesive revenue stamps. The first is a five-cent green partially perf. Nevada state revenue stamp. The second is a U. S. red five-cent, serrated edge, agreement revenue stamp – R 23. 2)Also included here, is an indenture between J. P. Wheeler and the Gould and Curry Silver Mining Company, a Corporation. Wheeler sold his interest in a quartz ledge in the Virginia Mining District. Attached are three adhesive revenue stamps. Two are brown fifty-cent Nevada state revenue stamps with serrated edges and one is a one dollar, red, inland exchange revenue stamp (R 69) with serrated edges.
