Between 1906-07, the Round Mountain Mining Co. mined and milled over 210,000 tons of ore at a gross value of about $2,000,000. It averaged about 5000 tons a month during its peak with ores averaging $6-10/ton. Even at this low yield, mining was profitable here because of low production costs [Davis, The History of Nevada, 2009]. - Clint Maish Collection
