This lot contains three items for collectors of Reno gaming ephemera. 1) A 12 x 14.5 ivory colored photo album with black pages and a gold embossed cover showing a pattern and eagle. Club Fortune/ Reno, Nev. is also embossed on the front. There are no photos inside the album, but it is in overall good condition with some scuffing around the edges. 2) An 8 tall silkscreened Club Fortune/ Reno clear green glass bottle with The Biggest Little City/ Reno/ In The World also silk screened on the bottle reverse. Intact, excellent condition. 3) A 15.75 x 13 x 1.5 stained card giftbox sent to Mr. Spradling/ Club Fortune/ Reno/ Nev. by the Bank Club Bar, 239 No. Center St. Reno, Nevada. Inside the giftbox, which is worn through along to edges of the lid, is a beautiful wooden book with a cowboy and buckign bronco overlaid in different woods. The words 1939 Reno Nevada are also overlaid in wood. The book is bound with leather cord and is blank on reverse. The interior of the front wooden cover is overlaid Compliments of Bank Club and the facing page lists the different woods used and their locations. The woods used are: American Black Walnut, Tobasco Mahogany, Ebony, Sap Walnut, Ailon, Maple, Prima Vera, Satinwood, Zebrano, and Avodire. The heavy brown pages within are unmarked. This book is a beautiful piece of art from the Bank Club, which was Reno`s largest casino in the 1930-40s. In 1952 it merged with the Golden Hotel to become the Golden Bank Club.
