Lot of 3 stocks. 1) Spanish Belle Mining Company unused stock certificate No. 369. Vignette of a woman in vale smelling a flower is present in the bottom left corner. 2) The Barcelona Mining Company certificate Number 3316 for 100 shares issued to Geo. W. Rosevelt, Jr., Dec. 17 1888, and signed by secretary (illegible) and President Geo. Doyle. Certificate is printed in green with a green border and vignette of lady liberty with an eagle, shield, railroad, flags, and a ship located in the top center. 3) Spanish Belt Extension Silver Mining Co. No. 24 for 8750 shares at $1.00 each. Issued to C. F. Phillipp, Dec. 22, 1919 and signed by Secretary, A. H. Keenan, and President, W. Richardson. Certificate has brown, highly decorated border with vignette of a buck and "Resident Agent A. H. Keenan" in top left corner. Company seal is present in bottom left corner. This district was located 7.5 miles outside of Belmont and was established in 1875 when it was detached from the Philadelphia District. The Barcelona Mining Company was incorporated in 1876, The Spanish Belle Mining Company on July 29, 1876, and the Spanish Belt Extension Silver Mining Co. in April 1919.
