Lot includes following: 1. Wells Fargo cover containing 2 letters sent from Elko to Virginia, Nev., dated July 26 and Mar. 15, 1874. Postmarked July 27, 1874. "Paid, Wells Fargo & Co., Over Our California and Coast Routes" printed at top center of cover. Addressed to General Thos. Williams and regards political matters. The author mentions the need of an unbiased newspaper to report political matters, stating that the current paper is owned by the Governor's son (John Bradley). "This John Bradley is a Thornton candidate for the state senate." The author asks for assistance to fund his campaign, stating that he is "in it for the fight" and that he is "too poor" to get a thorough campaign system in place. 2) White border RPC showing highway fading into the background, with "U.S. Lovelock to Winnemucca, Nev. 19" printed in white at center-bottom right. 3. "Eureka and Palisade Railroad, Time Table No. 34. to Take Effect Friday, Nov. 1, 1901, at 1 a.m. (M.L. Requa, Receiver). Expense Bill No. 18062, datelined Eureka, Nov. 27, 1901. To Eureka and Palisade Railroad Company, Dr., for $3.28. Stamped by both agent and receiver (Requa, M.L.). RPC of locomotive pulling cars lining up into the distance. Medium contrast and good focus, mounted on cardstock. "Eureka Nevada #119" typed at upper left corner of matte. Typed on reverse, "Scrapped in S.F. On Nov. 16, 1938. H.K. Porter." 4. Rate Card for the Reese River Reveille, Austin. "Goes to Every Post Office in the Ranch and Mining Country of Eastern Nevada.
