Gypsum is a common mineral found in large bands of sedimentary rock; this sample is transparent, and has sleek cleavage; a large Epidote sample from the Bonanza Scheelite Mine. Epidote is an abundant rock forming mineral which occurs in marble, schistose and is of metamorphic origin; an emerald colored piece of malachite (2” x 2”)- malachite is a carbonate mineral, it often results from weathered copper ores. Large quantities have been found in Russia, parts of Africa, Mexico, Australia and in Arizona.
