Mina, located in the south west part of the state, was founded in 1905 as a railroad town and named for Ferminia Sarras, a large landowner and famed prospector known as the "Copper Queen." 1) Prepaid waybill from Wells, Fargo & Co. to Los Angles, Cal., Dec. 3, yellow with black print. 2) Business correspondence from Emil Garson to Jim Brothers on Mina Hotel letterhead, 2 Feb 1910. 3) Acme Copper Hills Mining Company stock certificate No. C773 for 100 shares issued to L. L. Winkelman & Co. Signed by N. H. Martin and R. J. Rinck, Mar 6, 1918. Green with black print and large border. Signed on back. 4) Photo postcard "Wagon Train Crossing Nevada Desert."
