Stocks are signed by notable individuals, such as John Jones, Tasker Oddie, and others. 1) Columbia Mountain Mining Company Stock; Incorporated in South Dakota, 1904; Certificate No. 1780 issued June 12, 1908 to [illegible] for 1000 shares. Signed by president George Wingfield and Secretary J. M. F[illegible]. Certificate features seven vignettes. Largest vignette at top left corner depicts scene of five miners underground. Most foreground miner is calling up to the surface. Six smaller vignettes' frame the left and right sides of the stock. All four corner images show a miner with a pickax held over his shoulder. The two vignettes in the center on either side show minder aboveground holding a gold nugget. Border is black and detailed. Safety print is gilded. One Goldfield, Nevada postcard. This is a white border real photo post card, produced for Miner's Drug Store, Inc. In Tonapah, Nevada. Number 109. The image shows the above-ground mine from the January Lease company in Goldfield, Nevada. The written text is dated on August 27, 1905, and discusses the January mine and its high-grade ore. The reverse side has a legible stamp that reads "Vacaville, Sep 1, 11 AM 1905." In the top right corner there is residue from where a stamp was once attached. The address legibly reads "Miss Edna Marshall, Vacaville, Solano Co, California." Postcard measures 5.5"x3.5".

"The Wealth of Goldfield and the Wonderful Success of the January Jones Leasing and Mining Company" pamphlet. Printer and date not noted. Three-fold pamphlet discusses the benefits to purchasing shares from the January Jones Leasing and Mining Company. The front page shows miners with ore at the Cornishman Lease and notes the leasing system of the company. The inside pages outline the "safety of distribution," the "unlimited opportunities for profit," and the success of various mining leases the company controls. The center fold shows a panorama compiled of two photographs to show the Goldfield producers. On the back of the pamphlet, an image of a miner in the Stray Dog Lease working on a vein. It also discusses who to contact in order to purchase shares. The pamphlet measures 9"x11". It is folded in thirds from top to bottom, resulting in many hard crease lines. There are also small tears at the edges of the paper. Larger tears along those horizontal crease lines have been repaired by tape on the inside of the pamphlet.
