1881-This lot is an assorted group of different photos and documents. There are 2 really great CDV’s from around the Austin area believed to be dated from 1868 1870. They show scenes from a silver mining camp that includes a view of the mine and a group of miners. Both have very little wear and the focus and contrast is good. There is also 3 deeds, 1 was issued in Silver Springs on January 12th 1867 to “A. Caldwell.” The other 2 were in Austin to a “W.W. McCoy” on November 14th 1871. McCoy is the subject of an article in the Eureka Sentinel, which is also included in the lot. It is dated July 4th, 1964 and the front page article is all about Eureka pioneer Major W.W. McCoy. McCoy’s signature appears on a couple other documents in the lot, including a telegram and a Northwestern Consolidated Mining Co Stock. Lastly, there is a small photograph of 2 men and a woman sitting on the backs of what appears to be some kind of carts. The wear on the document vary from little to some. HKA#61586
