Higbee for 100 shares; signed by Arthur Brock as President and the treasurer (illegible); printed by the American Banknote Co., Phila. Litho; U/C; Blue border with black ink; one vignette top center which shows a large globe with a bull and wheat sheaf and two men sitting on either side. One man is in farming attire and the other in European dress. Behind them is a sailing ship on one side and a train on the other. Endorsed on reverse. 2. Spearhead Bullfrog Mining Company; Incorporated under the laws of Delaware, 1905; Certificate No. A203 issued February 19, 1906 to C.A. Higbee for 1000 shares; signed by Arthur Brock as President and the treasurer (illegible); printed by the American Banknote Co., Phila. Litho; uncancelU/Crder with black ink; one vignette top center which shows a large globe with a bull and wheat sheaf and two men sitting on either side. One man is in farming attire and the other in European dress. Behind them is a sailing ship on one side and a train on the other. Endorsed on reverse. In 1901 Butler‘s discovery was leased to investors and Tonopah was established. All Of Butler’s claims, including the Mizpah, were sold to the Tonopah Mining Company, a group of men from Philadelphia. Included in this group was C.A. Higbee, Arthur and John Brock, and Delaware Governor Charles Miller. The Spearhead was located on Bonanza Mountain but there are no production details [Myrick, Railroads of Nevada and Eastern California: the Northern Roads, Vol. 1. 1992. p. 237].
