Lot of 3. Pioneer Consolidated Mines Company Stock; Incorporated in Wyoming. All measure 11.5" x 8" and have a large orange border on crème paper with one vignette top center of a mine on a hillside.

1) No. 493 issued September 29, 1906 to Samuel B. Jackson for 1000 shares. Signed by David C. Brown, President and Chas. J. Clayton, Secretary. No printer noted. U/C. Certificate was transferred to the Reorganized Pioneer Mines Company Sept. 14, 1918.

2) No. 2376 issued April 1, 1915 to John Lagerberg for 500 shares. Signed by (illegible) as President and Chas. J. Clayton, Secretary; No printer noted. Not cancelU/Cate was transferred to the “Pioneer Mines Company” (probably the “Reorganized” version) On Sept. 14, 1918.

David R.C. Brown was a major stockholder in the mine along with George Wingfield. In 1909 the Pioneer consolidated purchased the Pioneer Mine, along with eleven other claims.
