Lot of 5. 1: Prospectus: c. 1905 issued by the promoter in Denver; a four-page, single fold document measuring 18x11.75”; the company is promoting not only the two claims in the Bullfrog District (no exact location is given) but also the Pine Creek District in Colorado where the company had several holdings. The Bullfrog-Colorado Mining Company was incorporated in the Territory of Arizona. Page two of the prospectus has a drawn map of the Michigan Hill claims. Otherwise the prospectus has the usual hurry-up and get-rich-quick sales pitch. 2: letter accompanying the prospectus, dated April 27, 1905 on company letterhead, encouraging the recipient to “get in on the ground floor” as a charter member. It says, “The management will be honest, and the stockholders will be treated as truly members of the corporation.” The stocks were sold for one-half cent per share. 3: Stock contract: one side for cash payments and the other for installment payments; unissued; measures 8x3.5” on dark pink paper stock. 4: Cover addressed to The Bullfrog-Colorado Mining Co., 514 Mack Building, Denver. Unused; measures 6x3.5.” 5: Cover: addressed to H.F. Heitman, 223 Woldburg St. West, Savannah, Ga. From John J. Bunte, 192 Broadway, New York, N.Y. Has one red, 2-cent U. S. postage stamp with Washington. Cancelled and dated December 12, 1906.
