Lot of 4 items, including 2 related to important embossed bottles. 1. "Statement/ To Thos. Taylor & Co./ Dealers in/ Wines and Liquors, 309 and 311 Sacramento Street." Datelined San Francisco, Jan. 24, 1887. "Paid Thos Keefer" in pencil at bottom. Thomas Taylor was an important whiskey dealer in Virginia City and San Francisco, most known today for his rare, embossed whiskey bottles. 2. Pamphlet on "Victor Liniment, Wonderful Healing Power For Man or Beast," manufactured by J.R. Colton & Co., East Northfield, Massachusetts. Victor Liniment is perhaps best known today for its scarce embossed bottles. 3. Scheeline Banking & Trust Co. check no. 778, datelined Reno, Nevada, Dec. 11, 1910 paid to the order of Rawhide Queen Mines Co., "paid" marked by stamp and hole punch. Signed by J.H. Barrett, for $45.00. 4. Stock certificate for The Goldfield Consolidated Mines Co., incorporated under the laws of Wyoming, November 13, 1906. No. R141120, issued to Thomas A Dolan for 100 shares on Jan. 15, 1906. Cancelled by stamp and hole punch through signatures, July 1906. Green face and border with black text, embossed seal.
