<p><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>[NORTHFIELD BANK ROBBERS] </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial; color:windowtext'>On Sep 7, 1876, the James-Dalton Gang raided the Bank of Northfield, MN, killing the Assistant Cashier Joseph Heywood and wounding the clerk A. E. Bunker. Offered is a CDV photo montage of six of the gang members, quarter-length portraits of <b>Bob</b>, <b>Cole</b> and <b>Jim Younger</b>;<b> Bill Chadwell</b>;<b> Clel Miller</b>; and <b>Charley Pitts</b>, the last three being postmortem portraits. Each is identified in print beneath his image. C. W. Stiff, St. Paul backstamp. Chadwell and Miller were killed during this famous raid. The Younger brothers were captured during the escape and Pitts would be killed 14 days later near Madelia. The James brothers escaped back to Missouri. Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
