This lot includes 4 stereoviews of important native american cultural icons. 1) An image of Hopi dancers performing a Kachina dance to the rain god, in the traditional village of Shungopavi, Arizona. The image shows Hopi dancers dancing before Hopi pueblo dwellings. The image is copyrighted by Underwood Underwood of Arlington NJ, Littleton NH, and Washington DC. Excellent condition, clear and dynamic image. 2) An image of the Los Pueblos De Taos with a clipping on the back of the card that reads Gurnsey`s Rocky Mountain Views Published at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pike`s Peak Avenue. and lists the image as No. 200 The Pueblos of Taos and includes a full description of the site (please preview in person to see this great description of the pueblos). Fine, clear image quality showing the structure of the pueblos and how they mimic the shapes of the mountains behind them. 3) An image of Indian Pottery by Continent Stereoscopic Company Publishers. The image shows four rows of native made pottery and figurines. Some fading on this image from Santa Fe, NM. 4) An image of Pottery of the Pueblo Indians of New Mexico. Shows one large vessel, and two kachina like vessels with figurines. Printed down the sides of the card: Discriptive [sic] Views of the American Continent. Very good condition. These stereoviews would make handsome additions to your native americana collections. HKA#63670
