This is a colorful Navajo Religious sand painting, entitled "Humpback Yei-Be-Chai" It was crafted by Rosabelle Ben of Shiprock, N.M. According to a handwritten notation on the reverse, the hump represents a bag of seeds with eagle feathers hanging from it. The note also explains that this work was made from natural color sandstones. It is mounted on suede leather and measures 10.5" x 18". Very fine detail and vivid colors. This is a beautiful piece of art that comes from the Tahoe Wovoka Estate Collection.Wovoka Collection HKA#63058
