<B>NIKI DE SAINT-PHALLE (French, 1930-2002)</B></I><BR><I>Petit Rossignol</B></I>, early 1980s<BR>Unpainted polyester<BR>10-1/4 x 10-1/4 x 7-1/4 inches (26.0 x 26.0 x 18.4 cm)<BR>(dimensions as mounted on metal stand)<BR> <BR>PROVENANCE:<BR>Crow Art Partnership Collection, Dallas.<BR><I><BR>Petit Rossignol </B></I>(Little Rooster) is a small unpainted polyester sculpture of a bird. The unfinished (unpainted) piece has been confirmed by the NCAF (Niki Charitable Art Foundation) to be definitely by Niki. The NCAF has an almost identical unfinished piece in its possession.
