A center fire cartridge type 38 caliber gun cane, signed on the frame"DE MONTHIER", with armory markings. Tooperate this gun an "L" shaped horn handle is turned slightly, unlocking the frame so that it can be pulledbackwards to expose a chamber for a cartridge. By pushing forward, the gun is cocked and ready to fire. Trigger isbutton type on underside of horn handle. The 29" barrel is covered with a nice tapered malacca shaft. Retains itsoriginal 1.5" nickel & steel ferrule/barrel plug. Total length 35.75". Nickel 1" collar just below handle.Some surface rust & dirt in barrel, scratches on shaft & handle, original finish with nice patina.(EST 600-800)
