Vijayanagara Empire, Aravidu Dynasty, Venkatapathiraya III (16 Century CE), Gold ½ Varaha, Obv: the God Venkateshwara standing under an ornamental arch facing forward, holding a discus (chakra) and a conch-shell (shankha) in two separate hands, while another hand makes the abhayamudra gesture, Rev: the Nagari legend "Shri Chalama Venkata raya" in three lines with two interlinear rules, (Dr. M. Girijapathi # 393), graded & slabbed by NGC as MS 63, Very Rare in this condition.
