CLASSIC
These strong, simple patterns were inspired by early American designs.

Nestled amid the gently rolling hills of historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the eastern United States, is a company that produces some of the most beautiful serveware in the world: Wilton Armetale. It was founded by Ralph P. Wilton, Sr., more than a century ago. And for three generations, the Wilton family has produced a variety of metalware using a painstaking process called sand moulding, where an impression formed in sand is filled with molten metal. Individually cast and meticulously hand-finished, no two pieces are exactly alike.
Today, Wilton Armetale creates serveware that combines the best of modern technology with old-world craftsmanship. The unique alloy it developed, called Armetale metal, can achieve a finish similar to silver or pewter. Not surprisingly, the formula is a closely held family secret. The elegant serve in and eat off. Yet these products are so lovely, it’s easy to forget how wonderfully functional and durable they are.

Able to withstand temperature extremes, Wilton Armetale serveware can go right from your stovetop to your tabletop and from there to the refrigerator or freezer. With normal use, it will not crack, chip or dent. In fact, Wilton Armetale products have been independently tested and found to meet guidelines for the safe cooking, serving and storing of food and beverage.
Of course, the servware that graces your home and table is more than functional. It’s decorative as well, and defines your style of entertaining. Because you want your serveware to reflect your own personality, we offer a choice of many different styles, ranging from colonial to contemporary.

Don’t be misled by the graceful lines or ornate patterns; this servware is tough. Its beauty is long lasting, without requiring the delicate care demanded by silver products.
Simply wash your servware with mild soap, then rinse with hot water and dry. Since the chemicals in water may vary, automatic dishwashers are not recommended because they may harm the metal’s fine finish. However, slight scratches caused by the cutting action of knives and forks are normal and lend your piece an air of authenticity.
As with any metal, it is not recommended that food be stored in your pieces for a sustained period of time, especially foods containing fatty acids, salad dressing or vinegar. If staining or discoloration does occur, a little Armetal polish followed by soap and water will soon restore the lustre to your serveware.
With simple care, your heirloom-quality Wilton Armetale products can provide years of enjoyment.
