NEPAL: Prithvi Bir Bikram, 1881-1911, 9-coin presentation set, PCGS-graded machine struck 1911 presentation set which includes: copper coinage ¼ paisa VS[19]68 KM-621 in MS-64BN, ½ paisa VS[19]68 KM-622 in MS-64RB, 1 paisa VS1968 KM-631 in MS-64BN, 2 paisa VS1968 KM-634 in MS-64RB, and silver coinage ¼ mohar SE1833 KM-644 in MS-65, ½ mohar SE1833 KM-649 in MS-63, 1 mohar SE1833 KM-651.2 in MS-64, 2 mohar SE1833 KM-656 in MS-64, 4 mohar SE1833 KM-658 in MS-66, a very rare set which includes some types only issued in presentation sets, a fantastic quality set with some having semi-prooflike fields! set of 9 coins. An unknown number of presentation sets were issued in 1907 and 1911 and most sets today are found in European collections. From 18 to 28 December 1911, King George V took part in a hunt in the Terai region of the Kingdom of Nepal as part of an expedition organized by the Prime Minister of Nepal, Chandra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana after the Dehli Durbar. These sets were reportedly distributed during the King's visit to Nepal.
