AMAZING RARE - VINTAGE - MINT - UNOPENED. ONLY 1 of a few HUNDERED were ever made ! A Big 10-8 Place is Negativland's 3rd album, which is a concept album released in 1983. The album's title is a reference to the radio ten-code "10-8", which means "back in service" or "available for next call" in the context of common CB radio usage. The lyrics and collage sound clips on the album make frequent reference to the CB radio hobby, as well as mischief like jamming.rnrnThe original release had unusual packaging, and included a small plastic bag of lawn clippings (or mulch), a "No Other Possibility" bumper sticker, and a map of Contra Costa county, where the band originated. Contra Costa county is frequently mentioned on the track "180-G, a Big 10-8 Place, Pt. Two". Negativland is an experimental music and sound collage band which originated in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1970s. Negativland were sued by U2's record label, Island Records, and by SST Records, which brought them widespread publicity and notoriety.

ONLINE SALES: ROCK AND ROLL OVER #24 & VINTAGE EPHEMERA auction will be conducted on-line only on Saturday June 29th, 2013 and begin at 9 AM (PST). All lots are available for on-line bidding through this site.
You may bid on-line at icollector.com with direct bids.
Payment for won items is expected following completion of the auction, an invoice form will be issued and sent by e-mail from a representative of ONLINE SALES.

There is a 10% buyer's premium added to hammer price.
For items purchased through iCollector.com, ONLINE SALES. will contact and send an invoice to all winning bidders via e-mail at the completion of the auction.

The purchaser, not ONLINE SALES nor the prior owner of the item, assumes all risks and responsibilities for items purchased at the time the highest bidder is acknowledged by the auctioneer.

Any merchandise not paid for in full (total purchase price + buyers premium + shipping fees) will be kept in storage no more than 30 days. If any single applicable term or condition is not complied with by the purchaser, the purchaser shall be in default and in addition to any and all other remedies available to ONLINE SALES. by law, including, without limitation, the right hold the purchaser liable for the total purchase price, including all fees, charges and expenses associated therewith, and ONLINE SALES may, at its option, (a) cancel the sale of that, or any other lot or lots sold to the defaulting purchaser, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser, or (b) resell the purchased property, whether at public auction or by private sale, or (c) effect any combination thereof. In any case, the purchaser will be liable for any deficiencies, costs, expenses or fees (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees) incidental to such default. In no event shall ONLINE SALES liability to any purchaser exceed the purchase price actually paid.
