Naval officer's crested dressing set set in campaign chest. The chest is brass bound and in mahogany. Probably used on a British Ship of the Line.

To the inside, there are a total of 6 silver boxes made in London in 1817 by John Lamb, each engraved with a ship's crown and an lion crest. Four are circular and two are rectangular.

The two largest circular boxes are screw opened, and measure 3 inches by 1 inch, while the two smaller measures 1.5 inches by 1 inch.

The rectangular boxes are : 1) 1.5 inches by 4.5 inches lonmg by 1.5 inches. the other box is pierced 7 inches by 1.75 inches by 1.5.

Each made by Lamb.

Some wear to lining and top shelf has been reglued.
