Obverse "la ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasool Allah" ("there is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah"), reverse carrying the famous Nasrid slogan "wa la ghaliba illa Allah, fi Gharnata" ("and there is no victor except Allah, [minted] in Granada").
