Desirable group lot of 17 Beta cloth patches, ranging in size from 5.5 x 5.5 to 9 x 10, each honoring various NASA missions and milestones, including: Apollo 7, Apollo 8, Apollo 9, Apollo 10, Apollo 11, Apollo 12, Apollo 14, Apollo 16, Apollo 17, and Apollo-Soyuz. Also includes two Skylab 2 (SLM-1) patches, one signed in black felt tip by astronaut Paul Weitz and marked on the reverse "PS16"; a Skylab 3 (SLM-2) patch signed in black ink by astronaut Jack Lousma, who adds "Pilot"; and a Skylab 4 (SLM-3) patch signed in black felt tip by astronaut Ed Gibson, who adds "Skylab III, Science Pilot." The Beta cloth group lot also features an American flag patch, a NASA 'meatball' logo patch, and an uncommon Apollo 11 'Man on the Moon' patch. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Weitz, who notes that the Skylab 2 patch marked "PS16" derives from his personal collection.
