<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>Three strands from the exiled general’s hair presented to Brevet Major R. P. Boys by Dr. Barry O’Meara, Naploeon’s surgeon on St. Helena, on Jul 4, 1817. The fine, brown strands are affixed to a printed presentation document, 8½"x11", featuring a 4"x6½" full-length color standing portrait of Napoleon in classic pose beside a facsimile statement by Boys regarding the circumstances of his obtaining the hair and an excerpt from Boys’ journal, including his affirmation, “...<i>It is from O’Meara that I got a lock of Napoleon’s hair.</i>..” A portrait of Napoleon from life attributed to Major Boys appears at bottom margin. VG. Accompanied by additional information regarding Boys, O’Meara and the circumstances on St. Helena during Napoleon’s exile.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
